My Lullaby

My Lullaby/Poem

Shimmering sparkling stream
Spirals onwards never stopping
Never needs a break to breathe
Giving leaves and branches a free ride

Rushing noises heard ahead
Water trips, tumbles, topples downwards in torrents
Splash splash splash
Like rain falling from the sky

Leaves, branches, stones
Pushed further downwards
Still moving forwards
Can’t stop, won’t stop

A train without a break
Won’t stop until the end
The sea, the sea
The end is near

Shimmering sparkling stream
Spirals onwards never stopping
Never needs a break to breathe
Giving leaves and branches a free ride

Toku'Ūpē / Poem

awa pīataata koroirangi
Koropetau ahu kore tu
Kore Me break ki manawa
Me te rau me manga tere free

rongo e rere ana te reo i mua
haerenga Water, taka, topples whakararo i roto i awa
pōrutu pōrutu pōrutu
Ka rite ki te ua taka i te rangi

Rau, peka, kohatu
Panaia atu whakararo
Tonu neke whakamua
Kāore e taea te mutu, e kore e mutu

He tereina, kahore te mea kiano i matao
e kore e mutu noa te mutunga
Te moana, te moana
Ko tata te mutunga

awa pīataata koroirangi
Koropetau ahu kore tu
Kore Me break ki manawa
Me te rau me manga tere free
